Sissy Mistress DeliaMs. Andi and I are blog swapping to give you some great feminization tips. I talk petticoats and she dishes on pettipants. Be sure to check out both blogs!
Tips for wearing petticoats are essential if you want your pretty dress to look right. I love hearing about men wearing petticoats – it certainly makes you a frilly sissy! – , but how you properly wear a petticoat is often a question. Princess Andi wrote about pettipants from square-dancing, and I wanted to follow up with a common kind of petticoat you would also find at a square dance shop.
Measuring the Petticoat
You will need a soft body tape measure. First, measure your dress skirt from waist. For your petticoat, you want a length about 1” shorter so you avoid the peeking petticoat. That said, it is sexy to pair a petticoat (say a red one) with a pretty black dress and to let the petticoat cheekily peek out with that pop of color! And remember to pair your petticoat with a very full skirt for the right effect.
How to Wear the Petticoat
When you put on a petticoat, it should sit at your natural waist. The fit is so important. Do not make it so tight that there are bulges. Too loose and it will slide as you walk or dance! A petticoat that slides down will peek out from under your dress and change your look and make you have to pull it up and up and up all night. Not fun! One trick is to pin the petticoat to a long line bullet bra you will be wearing. It keeps it in place all night!
Caring for your Petticoat
To wash a petticoat use a tiny bit of lingerie wash, wash, then lay out to dry. Do NOT put in the dryer. To store your petticoats you need space, and a fun way to keep them perfect is to hang them from a ceiling hook. If you can’t, leave plenty of space between each in the closet! To take out wrinkles use steam from a fabric steamer or just by hanging in the bathroom while you shower.
Whether you like crossdressing into a petticoat for that 1950’s look, or are a sissy who loves the fullness and frills, remember to stay femfabulous for Ms. Delia and always strive to be your prettiest!

hi there max. I just love a sissy clitty when it is super excited. I am so happy you are enjoying the blog swapping. I loved doing this with Ms. Delia. 🙂 Thank you for reading. Tee-hee
ohhh Ms. Marlena I am sure the sissies love twirling n spinning round an round in their pretty petticoats! I bet the gurls just can’t get enough of that sexy laugh of yours! 🙂
Take note, sissies! This is a very valuable post.
Petticoats are an absolute must. I don’t consider a girly outfit complete unless the skirt has a flirty, frilly petticoat underneath. There’s something so dainty and feminine about a full petticoat under a short skirt. And most of all, I simply love laughing as they twirl and spin like sissy princesses.
🙂 Thank you, Empress Alexis– laughing over your warning over candy. tee-hee… Happy Halloween everyone!
Ohhhh, such wonderful advice! This is the perfect post with Halloween on the rapid approach. So many of our beloved sissies look forward to this day as a free pass to be glam without fear. So don those petticoats, gurls and shine your hearts out. Oh! and watch all that candy. It’s “murder” on the waistline. *wicked laugh*
