Make up essentials–Every sissy wants to master the art of applying make up. I want to encourage you to to keep playing and experimenting with make up. Watch make up tutorials.  Read the magazines and practice, practice, practice.

Here are some of the things, I think every gal should have in her make up bag.

4 make up essentials I want you to use

1) Make up brushes.  You can spend a lot of money on make up. I say, you might as well get the right tools to apply your make up. You can spend as much as you like on make up brushes. Natural fibers are the best, when purchasing your make up brush but for you gals on a budget. You don’t have to skimp on quality just because you don’t want to spend a lot on make up brushes.  There are some really good, economical make up brushes out there.   Do take the time to care for your make up brushes.  Clean them on a regular basis and let them air dry. You take good care of your make up brushes and they will be good to you and last much longer because of it.

2) Foundation— Foundation is important. Take the time to find the best match for you. You can walk into any  Ulta or Sephora and ask for foundation samples and they will help match you with the foundation that goes best with your skin. This is true with most make up counters. So, don’t be shy. It is not that uncommon for men to want to wear foundation. So, don’t feel bashful.

3) Mascara:  Fake eyelashes or not. Wear Mascara. Even on the days you don’t want to wear make up.  Mascara really makes a difference.  They have all kinds of mascara. stuff that lengthens, stuff that plumps, You just have to figure out what is important to you. Not sure what works for you? You can look for a mini mascara and try them. Not all brands offer them in the smaller size; but, if you don’t think you are going to wear mascara daily save some yourself some  money by buying a mini mascara or travel size mascara.

4) Brow pencil:  Get those brows in shape and then use a brow pencil. It’s like a frame for your beautiful eyes. Every gal needs a good brow pencil in her make up bag. There are sooooo many options for you to choose from! Experiment with the various types of brow makeup. There is gel, there are powders and there are the traditional eye brow pencil. You can’t go wrong with what you choose. It’s a personal preference. I do urge you to learn how to use a brow pencil and you will love the difference it makes in your look. You can go bold or  subtle but either way, very pretty.
