Gurls here are some other things to consider when you conceal your 5 O’Clock shadow.

Yesterday, I wrote  Sissies and Crossdressers: How to Conceal your beard shadow.   Today, I am going to give you an awesome tip on how to  hide that 5 O’ Clock Shadow.   Before getting ready, ask your self: What is the occasion? Are you going to be taking pictures? These are things to keep in mind when applying your make up and taking measures to hide that 5 O’Clock shadow. You also need to consider  your skins undertones and the color of your facial hair.

The first thing  you will need to figure out is what kind of concealers you will need to use. Notice, I wrote concealers plural– for more then one. I have never met anyone that was trying to hide a beard shadow, or not–that only had to use one type of concealer.  I will write more on concealer and there uses next week.

Get ready to start hiding that 5:00 O’clock shadow.

Now that you have shaved and moisturized. Here are some of the things you will need to hide that beard stubble. The goal is to camouflage your 5 O’Clock Shadow, not cover it up. When it comes to facial hair, most beard shadows have a blue or blue grey tone to it. So, with this in mind I am going to suggest you get some orange concealer and/or red or orange matte lipstick. Some drag queens I know,  swear by using orange or red matte lipstick for this awesome trick.  I have watched  more then Queen do this.  You will have to practice and practice because it is one of those things if you don’t do it correctly–everyone is going to know but if you do, you are going to look fantastic.  Especially, if you are being photographed.  Va-Va-Voom!  Doesn’t every girl want to look picture perfect?

Do you have your matte lipstick ready?  Dab it only where you get hair growth. Just dab it on top of those areas being careful not to get it on skin where your hair doesn’t grow. Don’t worry– it won’t be perfect and don’t be to heavy handed. Just dab on top of the skin you usually have stubble. Don’t forget about your neck during this whole process. If you don’t want to use the matte lipstick then use an orange concealer and apply where you have hair growth.

Now that you have done that. Let’s continue  camouflaging your facial hair and finish putting your make up on. Finish up with any other concealers you need to put on. After you are finished doing that, grab your foundation brush and apply your foundation. Then loose powder. After you applied all of your make up. Use your setting spray.  Take a step back. Don’t forget to breath in how beautiful you look!

Did you know?

For those of you that aren’t on hormones or  permanent hair removal; and, you are curious about  trying  to slow down facial hair growth. There are products that offer facial moisturizers with ingredients that claim to slow down the growth of facial hair. The one product that I constantly hear my gurls recommend is Vaniqua.
